Terms and conditions outline the rules for accessing and using the services. By using the platform, you agree to these terms for a safe and secure experience.
1. Introduction terms and conditions These terms and conditions govern your use of the services provided by Costa Booking, a platform that connects property owners and guests for short- and long-term rentals. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Services provided
Costa Booking offers services including:
Property listings for short- and long-term rentals;
Support in connecting property owners with suitable guests;
Guidance during the inquiry and booking process.
Costa Booking does not act as the property owner and is not a direct party to the rental agreements between guests and hosts.
3. User responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information;
Use the platform only for lawful purposes;
Not engage in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive behavior.
Costa Booking is not responsible for disputes, damages, or legal issues that may arise between guests and property owners.
4. Property listings
Property information is provided by property owners or managers. While we aim to ensure accuracy, Costa Booking does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, legality, or suitability of any listed property and is not liable for errors or omissions.
5. Commission fees
Costa Booking charges a commission fee of 10% of the total base rental amount to the property owner (landlord) for each rental agreement concluded through Costa Booking. For the purpose of this clause, the “base rental amount” refers to the agreed rental price excluding any additional costs, including but not limited to utilities, cleaning fees, deposits, parking fees, or any other ancillary charges.
This commission may be:
invoiced as a one-time payment; or
invoiced on a monthly basis for the duration of the rental period.
The property owner remains responsible for the full and timely payment of all applicable commission fees. Costa Booking reserves the right to invoice such fees accordingly. All applicable fees will be clearly communicated prior to confirming any booking or service.
6. Privacy policy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Costa Booking privacy policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Costa Booking is not liable for:
Financial losses, damages, or disputes arising from bookings;
Issues with property condition, cancellations, or guest/owner behavior;
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our platform.
8. Termination of services
Costa Booking may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach these terms or violate applicable laws.
9. Changes to terms
Costa Booking may update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Alicante, Spain, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
